This case provides an analysis of the current issue faced by I Medikel Group. I. Medikel started its first business more than 25 years ago. The findings show that the company has a positive reputation. In 2001, the company expanded its operation by building a plant to produce spirulina-based health supplements. I Medikel is the family business that Haji Mohd Idris started with his siblings, both of whom graduated in the field of pharmacy. However, there are some major weaknesses that require further investigation and action to be taken by the management. Recommendations made include strategies for time efficiency; optimization of productivity to effectively lower the cost; development of a unique selling point (USP) that caters to the customer’s demand; creating awareness of the difference between original and fake products; and building powerful and unique marketing content. In a nutshell, this report will discuss in detail the issues and challenges faced by I Medikel in order to make sure they can be corrected in the future and also act as a reference for the owner of I Medikel in identifying the issue.
