1. AUTHOR FEES
Author Fees
Artificial Intelligence in Systems and Applications (AISA) is committed to promoting accessible, high-quality scholarly publishing. Currently, AISA does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC), submission fees, or publication fees. Authors may submit, review, and publish their manuscripts free of charge.
AISA operates as an open-access journal published by the Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Big Data (AIBIG), Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK). The journal aims to encourage knowledge sharing and international collaboration while maintaining high editorial and peer-review standards.
Should any publication charges be introduced in the future, complete information regarding the fees, payment procedures, and waiver schemes will be announced through the official AISA website before implementation.
2. WAIVER POLICY
Waiver Policy
As AISA currently does not impose any Article Processing Charges (APC), no waiver application is required.
If publication fees are introduced in the future, AISA will establish a transparent waiver policy to support authors who may experience financial difficulties. Priority may be given to researchers from developing countries, early-career researchers, and authors from institutions with limited research funding.
All waiver requests will be assessed fairly and confidentially by the Editorial Office.

Artificial Intelligence in Systems and Applications (AISA) maintains complete editorial independence and does not publish commercial advertisements or sponsored promotional content that may influence editorial decisions.
Editorial decisions are based solely on the scientific quality, originality, relevance, and ethical standards of submitted manuscripts. Commercial interests shall not influence the peer-review process, editorial decisions, or publication outcomes.
Authors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest, financial support, or commercial relationships that may influence their research. Failure to disclose relevant conflicts of interest may result in rejection or retraction of the published work.
