Self-Archiving Policy

Artificial Intelligence in Systems and Applications (AISA) supports the broad dissemination of scholarly research through self-archiving while preserving the integrity of the published scholarly record.

Authors publishing in AISA, an open-access journal, are encouraged to archive the preprint version of their manuscript on their personal website, institutional repository, or non-commercial subject repository before submission, provided that the archived version clearly indicates that it has not yet undergone peer review.

Authors are also encouraged to archive the accepted manuscript (postprint) and the Version of Record (publisher's version) on their personal website, institutional repository, non-commercial subject repository, academic social networking platforms, or other non-commercial scholarly communication platforms after publication. The archived version should acknowledge that the article has been published in Artificial Intelligence in Systems and Applications (AISA), published by the Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Big Data (AIBIG), Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK).

To preserve the integrity and authenticity of the scholarly record, authors should include a citation and a direct link to the official published version on the AISA journal website. The Version of Record available on the journal website should be regarded as the definitive and authoritative version of the article.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that any self-archiving practices comply with the requirements of their funding agencies, institutions, or sponsors. Where applicable, authors should verify that repository deposits and public dissemination are consistent with the terms of any grant or institutional policies.
