Aims and Scope

The Journal of Tropical Resources and Sustainable Science (JTRSS) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal published by Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK). JTRSS aims to serve as a platform for publishing high-quality research focused on the unique challenges and opportunities within the tropical regions. The journal's scopes include sustainable agriculture, environmental science, food science and the integration of traditional and modern practices to ensure food security and economic development in the tropical regions. 

JTRSS welcomes submissions that support and advance the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), notably SDG 3: ensure healthy lives and promote well-being; SDG 13: climate change; SDG 14: life below water and SDG: 15 life on land.

We welcome novel and groundbreaking case studies, review papers, and research articles that contribute to these specialized areas. JTRSS is committed to advancing the understanding and management of tropical resources, promoting sustainability, and fostering the dissemination of knowledge that can drive positive change in tropical regions.
